ACCOUNTABILITY PARTNER

It is worthy of notes that God did not create us for isolation. We all need someone to be accountable to or someone to hold us accountable especially when it comes to our personal goals. I do not believe there is such a thing as a self-made person. Although it is right to say you eventually are responsible for all the decisions you make in life, it is also correct to say that till you were able to make those decisions someone took out the time to nurture and to train you up with the ability to be independent.


In this journey of being a writer, who is that someone you are accountable to or who holds you accountable? Who is that someone who checks up on you to ensure you are not giving up on your goal to become an author or whatsoever thing you want to become this year? Do you even have such a person in your life? Or are you a lone ranger? One thing is for sure, we all need some amount of push every now and then, and there is a limit to what we can do if we always want to be on our own. So much we can achieve if we ar not doing anything to see others achieve their goals or have people looking out for us to ensure we achieve ours..


Dear writers, think about this today. If you have someone who holds you accountable and they are online, why not tag them in the comment section and give them a shout out to show your appreciation? If you don't, why not take out time to identify such people and have a conversation with them. The same should go for you who do not have anyone you are cheering on. Search out someone, even if it's on this platform, someone you can always check up on to cheer them on and make them know someone is rooting for them.


In a nutshell, be someone accountability partner and watch yourself and this community grow in leaps and bounds. We are readily available to support anyone who needs support.
