(You know – you leave the salon with wet hair to get your kids to their event on time or prep everyone else’s meals for the week except your own.) Make a commitment today that the kind of behavior that puts you last stops now. Showing up for yourself means taking a break from all of that in order to be mindful and present, to care for your own health, or to nurture your own creativity and energy,” she says.
