HOW DO I STOP BEING SHY?

Shyness can really hold people back partially because those who are shy tend to stay away from public situations and also speaking up and it is because they experience so much chronic anxiety. Shyness can be overcome with time, effort and desire to change. But if your shyness is severe, you may need help from a counsellor or therapist though it can overcome it on your own by taking note of these. Do not showcase your shyness. Those related to you closely are aware of it already and others may not have the time to take note of it. Shyness is not as visible as you probably think. When others bring up your shyness, please do keep your tone casual. Then if it turns to be part of the discussion, speak of it cheerfully. Also if you are embarrassed when you are uncomfortable, don’t equalize it with shyness, do allow it to stand on its own.
